Construction of Community Rec Complex Begins Spring 2017

Ground-Breaking on Rec Complex to Start Spring 2017

A variety of new recreation amenities will start opening in downtown Port Coquitlam as early as 2019. Ground-breaking will begin in spring 2017 for the 205,000 square-foot Community Recreation Complex near Mary Hill Road and Wilson Avenue. Details such as the draft floor plan and amenities can be found below or at portcoquitlam.ca/recplan.

New Port Coquitlam rec centre to cost $132 million

Take a deep breath, Port Coquitlam. Your property bills are guaranteed to go up for the next four years to pay for the city’s biggest infrastructure project since the Coast Meridian Overpass. This week, city council revealed the cost of a new PoCo recreation complex: $132 million.
