Tuesday:  REES NAMED TO U19 ALL-WORLD LACROSSE TEAM: Local lacrosse athlete, Ryland Rees, showed he has the potential to be one of our country’s lacrosse leaders after the recent U19 World Championships. Rees was named the World Championships Defensive MVP and was named to the All-World Team list. Rees scored 6 goals in the event with 2 vs. England and another 2 vs. the Iroquois Nation in the semi’s. Canada finished with the silver medal this past week. The Terry Fox Ravens alum returns this fall for his sophomore year at Stony Brook Univ. in New York.
