Surrey Mounties have arrested a suspect in the stabbing of a 25-year-old man in Whalley last Thursday night. Steven Fayant, 23, of Port Coquitlam has been charged with aggravated assault and failing to comply with a bail condition.

Carol Todd is an outstanding speaker. She is the mother of Amanda Todd [Nov. 27, 1996 – Oct. 10, 2012] who killed herself at the age of 15 at her home in Port Coquitlam, B.C. after being the victim of cyberbullying.

Port Coquitlam Firefighters – IAFF Local 1941 – We are very proud to host the BC Professional Fire Fighters Association Burn Camp Kick off. Together, with Maple Ridge Firefighters, IAFF 4449 , Coquitlam Firefighters, IAFF Local 1782 and Port Moody Fire Rescue we sent off kids from all over BC to camp. We are very proud to have contributed a donation of $10,000 to the Burn Fund to support these types of causes. Thanks to you and your donations we made this possible.
