PoCo Saints beat Langley Thunder in first playoff game Tuesday night at the PoCo Rec Complex 7 – 6 in overtime.  Next Game is on Thursday in Langley.

The SUBWAY® British Columbia Lacrosse Association (BCLA) Box Lacrosse Provincial Championships for the Midget division took place July 7-10, 2016 in Coquitlam. Twenty seven Midget teams from around BC competed for box lacrosse supremacy in the A1, A2, B and C divisions. Port Coquitlam took bronze in both the Midget A1 and B divisions.

LOCAL JAVELIN ATHLETE EARNS CANADIAN JR. RECORD & GAINS JR. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS SPOT; Arch Bishop Carney Alum, Brittni Wolczyk, just completed a stellar freshman year at the Univ. of Nebraska. The PoCo resident was named to the All-Big Ten Conference Team & followed that up with NCAA Div. 1 All-American honours after finishing 11th at the NCAA Championships at the Univ. of Oregon campus in Eugene. During this event she gained the title of Canadian Jr. Javelin record holder with a distance of 53.67m. Brittni is now travelling to Poland as part of the Canadian team for the World Jr. Track & Field Championships that begins next week.

Ducks Volleyball Club – Big congrats to all the Ducks who participated in Beachfest this past weekend! Special congrats to Hieltjes/Aasen for winning the U18 Division and a dominant showing by our U15 age group!
