BC SPCA Port Coquitlam Education & Adoption Centre – Thank you so much to the lovely young ladies from the Hyde Creek District Girl Guides! They held a camp to support the BC SPCA, and made a bunch of toys for our cats and small animals- their leader came by this morning to drop off the amazing gifts.

The Small Animal Rescue Society of BC have set up a mini garage sale in the office at Countryside Kennels! Some great bargains to be had! So, if you missed out, maybe some of these items might catch your eye! All are $1 each or 3/$2. Lots of each too!

Children of the Street Society – What could be better than a night out to help a great cause like Children of the Street Society? Join us on June 30th for our 7th Annual Children of the Street Pub Night. $20 will be getting you a beer & a burger while raising funds for our TCO2 program!

DUCKS VOLLEYBALL ALUM EMILY MAGLIO EARNS MAJOR NCAA DIV.1 HONOURS: Ducks Volleyball’s primary game and trainings home are at the local Riverside & Pitt Middle Gyms, locations where they develop next level stars such as Emily Maglio who is currently in her 2nd year for national volleyball powerhouse, the Univ. of Hawaii.

Xclub Fitness’s Jason Stone! Master men’s bodybuilding finals, 1st place!

PoCo Minor Baseball – A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our 2nd Annual Pub Night Fundraiser! Thanks to all our volunteers and executive who are constantly pulling double duty to help out where and when we need it.

Tri-City Fencing Academy – BC Provincials Update: Second weekend for the provincials featuring the senior, junior, and cadet events. Congratulations to Isaac Jacobsen for finishing second in Senior Mix-Foil. Michelle Wang and Xiaolong Pan tied for third place. For Cadet Mix-Foil, Michelle Wang finishes third again. In Cadet Mix-Sabre, congratulations to Thomas Greenwood for his bronze medal finish.
