We’ll have live music, food, plus a salsa dancing demo from the DSU Salsa Club! Come party in the garden with us! Everyone is welcome – please feel free to bring guests.

Coquitlam Teachers’ Association – Tonight was the mentorship celebration. It was a great wrap up with our learning partners and a time to reflect on the past year and think about next year! At the celebration, the school district and CTA thanked these dedicated teachers for all their hard work this year.

Mayor Richard Stewart – This GoFundMe campaign for the Tri-Cities’ Syrian Newcomers is producing great results, together with a campaign for donated bicycles.

Ride Like A Pro in the PoCo Grand Prix – Do you have what it takes to ride in a criterium style race? We want you! Join the Westwood Cycle Club and join us for our Wednesday evening time trials and you could be riding in the PoCo Grand Prix this July 15th.

POCO EURO-RITE FC ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP & CLUB HONOURS EVENING: Tonight PoCo EFC honoured it’s 2016 award winners and their families at the Gathering Place for their outstanding contributions to the club, community, and academics. Counsellor Glenn Pollock along with Club President Fred Malmberg were the MC’s. Recipients were in 3 categories: Academic Achievement & Commitment Award: Noah Tajwar, Sean Pilgrim, & Kyle Singh. Testimonial Award (playing from U6 to U18 for club): Trent Hill, Kyle Singh, Marcus Keller, Auburn Pickell, & Celeste Hargrave. Commitment and Dedication to the Club & Community Sport Award: Barry Lilburn. Special thanks to club office manager Brenda MacGregor & club VP Tracey Nolet for their organization of the evening.
