Thursday:   Our Annual Walter Bird Memorial Pee Wee A Tournament starts at Thompson Park. Eight teams including PoCo, Coquitlam/Moody, Ridge Meadows and North Delta will all be competing for the Walter Bird Trophy. A bit of Mr. Bird’s legacy is below. The tournament runs May 26 to May 29. Some of Mr. Bird’s family will be in attendance during the tournament – come by and say hi to Dave, Mike, and Tyler and if we’re lucky, Mrs. Bird might drop by as well.
