Friday:  10 days of May Day Celebrations start today with the Opening Celebration at PoCo Rec Complex including the maypole dancing. This is a shot of the first maypole in PoCo, set up in 1924 on the grounds of the Junction School, now the lacrosse box, at the corner of Wilson Ave. and Mary Hill Rd. PoCo Minor Baseball:  This is a reminder of the Scott’s Pitch, Hit, Run event on Saturday April 30, 2016 at Thompson Park, upper diamond. This is a fun competition where players pitch, hit the ball, and run the bases, and can advance to other competitions.
