 Monday’s Pic: Mayor Greg Moore took part in a Wheel to Heel fundraiser for Eagle Ridge Hospital put on by Westwood Cycle where participants got to ride with famous cyclist Jens Voigt, a two-time Tour de France Yellow Jersey winner.

Terry Fox Library:  BC Hydro has scheduled a power outage impacting our computer operations. In order for BC Hydro to complete their work, we have to take many of our services offline on Wednesday, April 20. You will still be able to check out books in-library.

Taco Del Mar PoCo:  Jennifer Brown, an employee at Taco Del Mar Port Coquitlam from 2008-2014, unfortunately lost her son, Max, unexpectedly on April 9, 2016…. A GoFundMe page has been set up by of her family friends to help her family financially through the toughest time in their lives.

PoCo Run Club:  Last call for “Next Step Run Clinic” registration…starts this weekend…. The clinic runs April 17-June 12 at Hyde Creek from 9-10am and the cost is $42. Click here to register:

PoCo Minor Softball:  Thank you to all the Volunteers, Parents, Umpires, Players, Coaches, and heck, anyone who stopped by McLean park this weekend to cheer the kids on, we had a great weekend thanks to everyone involved!

Hope Lutheran Christian School:  Kindergarten A baked cookies for the police hall, fire hall and Eagleridge Hospital. They also went to Wellington Park and picked up garbage.
