Leigh Square Arts:  Port Coquitlam residents demonstrated their true community spirit and pride in submitting 158 images for the 2016 City of Port Coquitlam Street Banner Contest. Leigh Square Community Arts Village and the City of Port Coquitlam are excited by and grateful to all whom participated in this opportunity for community engagement in public art, and the 493 community members who voted. The beautification of the City will be enhanced by the New 2016 Community Banners which will adorn the City by early May.

Blakeburn Healing Garden Committee:   Folks, I have received word from City projects that they will be having a public consultation. I will keep everyone updated on the date. Mark your calendars if you would like to come and support this. We will need many supporters and voices at the meeting !!!

Leigh Square Arts:  The City of Port Coquitlam is excited to welcome back Laura G. and Ninna Snider – the Muck Sisters! Laura and Ninna recently spent the past three months mucking it up at the Gathering Place during their first residency. They had such a great time that they decided to join us for another term! The artists return to the arts village as the centre’s tenth and eleventh Artists-in-Residence from April 6th to June 2nd in the Outlet at 2253 Leigh Square, Avenue, Port Coquitlam.
