The perfect summertime outdoor activity where local politicians, business people and the community at large can mix and mingle for the day of fun, entertainment and playful competition of croquet while raising money for the Port Coquitlam Foundation’s Endowment Fund.

TC News:   A student at Port Coquitlam’s École des Pionniers de Maillardville will compete in Toronto this month in a national poetry contest. Gabrielle Nebrida Pepin was named a semi-finalist — for the second year in a row — in the bilingual stream of the Poetry In Voice recitation competition. The winners take home $25,000 in awards.

Blakeburn Healing Garden Committee:  This is Blakeburn Lagoon, where I envision the healing garden to be located. It is several blocks away from the Pickton property in Port Coquitlam.The city received grants for the park and completion date is summer of 2017. (Video at link)
