PoCo Garden Club: Providing unique opportunities for horticulture students – The PoCo Garden Club promotes innovation and student success.  The PoCo Garden Club, based in Port Coquitlam, has been digging up support for the Horticulture program at the University of the Fraser Valley since 2001. Fifteen years of generosity has supported the purchase of horticultural equipment….

Port Coquitlam Farmers Market:   Well we are working hard on getting all the vendor applications data entered and organized. We have a fantastic line up of farmers and food producers. Lots of your favourites are returning with new product lines and crafts. Keep your eye on the web page….will be updating that shortly so you can see the whose who of the Port Coquitlam Farmers Market.

Hope Lutheran Christian School:  Grade 7 students removed purple policeman’s helmet, an invasive species, at Kanaka Creek Regional Park.

Mayor Greg Moore:  Cllr Pollock doing a great job serving at our Seniors Volunteer Appreciation lunch at Port Coquitlam Rec Centre.

TC News:  Commercial power washing OK at Stage 2: Port Coquitlam – Port Coquitlam city council will follow the rest of the region when it comes to water restrictions this year.

Evergreen Cultural Centre:  This is an open casting call to all students in Tri-Cities area from aged 10 – 21 who would like to be a part of this historic production. We are looking for actors, singers, dancers and martial artists of all levels and experience levels. Auditions will be held at Evergreen Cultural Centre on May 15 2016 from 2-6pm. and May 21 from 2:30pm – 5:30pm.

April 16th:  Pacific All Canadian Pageants – The All-Canadian pageant system gives every contestant boy or girl a chance to shine on stage. The idea is to come out for fun meet friends, while increasing your confidence and developing an outgoing personality.

April 17th:  Westwood Cycle invites you to Ride with Jens Voigt. He is a German former professional road bicycle racer for several teams, the last one being UCI ProTeam Trek–Segafredo. Voigt wore the yellow jersey of the Tour de France twice!

April 21st:  Join PoCo Heritage for our General Meeting, followed by our Annual General Meeting. Elections for Board of Directors positions will be held during the AGM. Both events are open to the public, however, only PoCo Heritage members in good standing, who have paid their 2016 membership fee, may vote in the Board of Directors elections. Membership fees may be paid at the General Meeting. Refreshments will be served.
